The over 200 year old ruins of three rooms at the front of the property are now part of Casita #3, the “Colonial”, the largest of the casitas, easiest access with least steps. There’s an old Colonial style living room, double wooden doors and windows, gas fireplace, built in bancas, skylights, and sixteen foot ceilings.

The old-fashioned Mexican-style Talavera-tiled kitchen is fully equipped: equipal table, 2 chairs for breakfasting, 3 burner stovetop, toaster, microwave, blender, coffeemaker and grinder.
In the living room is another table for 3-4 or for small workspace, plus new addition of 32″ wide screen TV, cable with CNN, BBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC channels, recent dvds/ player and home theatre. Excellent collection of good reading, original paintings, crafts and textiles from the Mideast and Latin America. King bed in bedroom sports new memory foam mattress, excellent closet space; it’s up 4 steps to private bath with shower, hair dryer provided. Just outside your casita, follow the ”caracol” iron staircase to Colonial Casita’s private roof garden terrace There’s an umbrella table, chairs for sunny views of La Parroquia cathedral, San Miguel surroundings, plants galore and sensational sunsets.
