    All casitas offer: king or queen bed, fireplace, free WiFi, roofgarden vista, fully equipped kitchen, microwave, maid- afternoons, M-F, cable TV,  DVD/CD player, fan, house phone extension, space heater, private bath/shower, bottled water, hair dryer. Daily rates: Casita 1,2, or 3: $120-170; Weekly: $595-735 (3 day minimum stay).

    On the second level of the compound the Studio offers a 4th option;  light dappled one room quarters with private bath/shower, it’s own garden terrace and new: QUEEN BED (replaces double pull down) plus bunk on top of closet.  Ammenities: refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, small TV with basic cable.

    San Miguel Map with Tres Casitas Tres Casitas is quietly located on the interior at Sollano 34, a 3 minute level stroll from La Parroquia cathedral and El Jardin. There’s no sign. Close to everything in centro San Miguel; designed and constructed from centuries old ruins by artist/ owner Nanci Closson in 1993.

    Maria’s ambitious housekeeping and helpfulness as manager of Tres Casitas is available afternoons Monday through Friday (along with her daughter Isabel) and at guests’ arrival times. In words, Tres Casitas is: compact, cozy, sculptural, light, bright, airy, angular. Green with growth–Moroccan desert reds, turquoise, mellow yellows, rich ripe rusts; this is Old Mexico. In all of the accommodations are original paintings (many are the artist/designer Nanci’s work), sculptural ceramics and a collection of Mexican, Native American, African, and Central to South American crafts and textiles, which are for sale.
